Margie Palatini
 Beechwood School on November 15
What a fun day! Margie Palatini is a funny and dramatic reader. She loved her colorful welcome banner,
the Moosestach drawings, the Bedhead contest and the Reader Theater of the Three Silly Billies. Margie shared Bedhead, Moo Hoo and Piggie Pie with the students. We all learned about creating a 32 page picture book in two years! She answered many many interested questions. It was a day of smiles. Thank you to Ms. B, the teachers and staff for making this day memorable. Thanks to the Freeholders of Union County for their grant. Thanks to the Town Bookstore for ordering her books. They are the last independent bookstore in Union County. Check them out the next time you are downtown Westfield. Looking forward to see some of you back at our library for Matt Phelan's author visit on Saturday, December 2. He will give a general presentation before lunch and then a creativity workshops for young and older kids, and adults afterwards. Matt is an amazing graphic artist and author. Come in, share a free lunch and check out his books. Call to reserve a spot 908-233-0115

Matt Myklusch September 30
Author Matt Myklusch's author visit was amazing!
Matt told us his writing and drawing life story.
He draws the ideas from his imagination first and then he writes his new worlds into his books. Everyone had lots of questions for Matt. We learned a lot and had fun drawing super heroes together.
