SPRING BOUTIQUE:   Friday, April 1st  Noon to 5PM and Saturday, April 2nd  10 AM to 5 PM

Join us for a Spring Boutique, hosted by the Friends of the Library.  The sale will feature gently used jewelry, handbags and fashion scarves, all at unbeatable prices.  What a great way to accessorize that perfect Prom or special occasion outfit!  Donations of sale items are still being accepted at the library.  No woolly winter scarves, please!

All proceeds from the sale will be used by the Friends to support and enhance library programs and services


“BROWN BAG ACADEMY”!  Mondays 1:15 to 2:45 PM

Experience the joy of learning with THE GREAT COURSES. Watch three lectures each week, with a 15 minute break after the first hour, to digest what you have learned and discuss with other audience members.

Our next course will begin on Monday, March 7th and will run for 8 weeks.  We will feature Experiencing America: A Smithsonian Tour Through American History presented by Professor Richard Kurin, PhD., of the Smithsonian Institution.


You may bring your bag lunch.  Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided.

Please call the library at 908-233-0115 to register.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        15 MINUTE CHILD BREAK, by Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey     Thursday March 3rd, 7:30 PM.                                                                                        

Bill Lillis, from Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, will present a substance abuse prevention parent education program.  The 15 Minute Child Break is a one-hour, interactive, multimedia presentation, based on current research, that will inform, encourage and empower parents, educators and care givers to effectively communicate with children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  Topics include the effects of specific drugs, strengthening parental skills, influence of media and pop culture and utilizing teachable moments.  Please call the library at 908-233-0115 to register.
