Beginner Henna (Mehendi) Workshop- Ages 6 and up
Celebrate South Asian Heritage Month by discovering the beauty and tradition of henna (mehendi) in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop. Participants will learn about the cultural significance of henna, a centuries-old art form celebrated throughout India and many South Asian communities. The session includes a brief introduction to henna traditions, guided instruction on creating simple designs, and the opportunity to practice and create your own patterns on paper or on your hands.
All materials will be provided, including natural, skin-safe henna. Designed for all skill levels, this relaxed and creative workshop offers a fun and welcoming introduction to this vibrant artistic tradition.
This program is open to ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required for all attendees, including adults.
