MOVED TO 5/30- Hawaiian History and Culture

Explore the rich history and vibrant traditions of Hawaii! Discover the islands from Captain Cook’s arrival to the era of missionaries, and learn about the royal monarchs, including Queen Lilioukalani. Experience Hawaiian music, chants, and the “Ipu Drum,” see traditional handicrafts, and get a glimpse of hula dance with a hands-on demonstration. Highlights include the four major islands—Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island—and a look at the spectacular King Kamehameha Day Parade through slides and personal stories.
